OUTAFOCUS

This is me and the biggest joys in my life, my two wonderful grandsons. Nick is now nine years old and Jack is 18 months. This picture was taken around Christmas 2004. Nick is a real "people person", is quick witted, and fun to be around. Jack is more interested in toys and other items. He is very focused on detail with the things he plays with. Old Papaw there is just plain PROUD!











I used to run machines like this, and that is how I got my nickname outafocus! This is a Brenkert BX-60 35 mm projector It is in pristine condition, and is my favorite possession. This projector is totally operational.



This is my favorite theatre. It is the Montwood 7 in El Paso, Texas. I managed this theatre from 1984-93. It was very run down when I took it over. We added four auditoriums, renovated the original three, quadrupled the lobby size, and tripled the size of our restroom facilities. We also built a circular island type snack bar. This front view of the theatre shows the glass brick and neon we used inside the lobby too.







This is my dog, Brownie J Woofenbarker. He is either a full bred Japanese Ainu Dog, or a mutt with a little bit of everything, including Chow, because he has a blue-black tongue. He was a stray when I took him in five years ago. He had a BAD case of heartworms. I got him cured of the heartworms, and he has been a WONDERFUL pet ever since.
